Hola..
Hace una semana instale windows XP.SP3, y todo el software y juegos que termine con 2006 o 2007 o 2009 ... en uan pentium III.. y mi amigo para el cual estaba haciendo el trabajito quedo muy contento. porque pdoa jugar PSE6-winieleven-fotbol.. el señor de los anillos y otros!!

Claro para que esto se haga realidad:
tube que aumentar 250 MB mas de RAM (DIMM 133)
un disco IDE de 80 GB (Sansung)
Una tarjeta de Video de 512 MB 8FX/4FX
...respondiendo a la pregunta: Tuve que repontenciar la maquina! Entonces si se puede repotenciar! solo tienes que tener cuidado de que los componentes que le añadas a la tarjeta madre sean compatible con ella y con el BIOS!

LA PUEDES REPONTENCIAR PERO SIEMPRE TENER EN CUENTA LAS ESPECIFICACIONES TECNICAS DE LA PLACA QUE ES BASICO, LA SUGERENCIA QUE TE DOY ES QUE NO LA CARGUES DE JUEGOS QUE REQUIERAN 512RAM A MAS PORQUE LA VAS A PONER LENTA TOMAR PRECAUCIONES ...OKIS
